My Story
So here's the deal. This is long, but I need you all to read and support me in any way you can <3 In direct sales, we're asked often to think of our why. Why are we in business? Why do we do what we do? What are our goals? The truth is I never felt like I had a real "why". Sure, I wanted to earn the incentive trip, or have extra money in my pocket (who doesn't??), save for my car, etc etc but those all seemed selfish. Most of my Scentsy and direct sales sisters all have kids, I don't. I never felt I fit in with all the SAHM friends I have. Their lives are different. I have noone to support, or that depends on me. Until now. The other day I took my cat to the vet, after procrastinating for months cuz I was afraid of the bill. We were hoping it was a tooth abscess and maybe it would open up and drain on its own. Turned out it was a growth and not an abscess. They originally wanted almost $800 to take the whole thing out and do a full biopsy. I opted for the $250 option which only did a partial biopsy. Long story short, it came back cancerous. She should be fine for now, but we have to do a full removal in the next month or 2 before it spreads. That will be another $700 estimate. Altogether with the money already spent, it will be close to $1,000. Here's where you all come in. Think of all the gifts you need that are coming up: Mother's day (not too late, if you order today!!!), Father's Day, teacher's gifts, grads, communions, weddings, birthdays.... and when was the last time you treated yourself to something?? With 2 brands to choose from, your wish list can get pretty big!!! Won't you consider doing a party and earning these gifts at free or half price?? A party can be a traditional home party, a simple facebook party, or an on the go tote party!!! Anyway you can share the love of Scentsy or Velata and get $150 minimum sales (or $200 for Velata) counts as a party!! My goal for May (and it's a very ambitious one!!! This would be a new record for me if I do this!!) is to sell $2,000!!! Why $2,000?? I normally earn 25% commissions, but if I sell over $2,000 I jump up to 30%, which is a minimum of $600 PLUS my regular downline bonuses!! My May commission could be enough to completely pay for this, or less than a $100 out of pocket. How will I earn this? My goal is to have at least 4 home parties (one every weekend!!!) in May!!! Plus a few basket/tote and online parties. I'm even open to do one this weekend, just invite a few friends over, doesn't have to be big. And for Mother's day weekend, why not plan a mom/daughter girls night party for Saturday night?? I can invite a Younique and Jamberry friend over as well and have some fun makeovers, who's in???
